2月25日，投资公司泛大西洋投资集团（General Atlantic）正在出售其持有的字节跳动股权，该交易对这家中国社交媒体公司的估值约为5500亿美元。与去年字节的股票回购相比，本次估值将增长约66%，当时该公司的估值超过3300亿美元。据消息人士透露，这笔交易也比11月份在二级市场进行的一笔交易高出约15%，当时字节跳动的估值约为4800亿美元。
